Steve Jobs’ death brings people together

Steve Jobs is dead. How ironic, considering that I just finished reading his biography.

His death is yet another proof of the fact that there are some things in life money cannot buy: health and happiness.

After the news of Steve Jobs’ death reached the WWW, Twitter has set a new record with 10.000 tweets per second, Google has laid down the weapons to honor him by putting a link to apple.com on its homepage, and Google Search came up with 835,000,000 results for “Steve Jobs” in the past 24 hours just to give some examples. The sad news of Steve Jobs’ death has made it to the books.

The Times have put together a slideshow to showcase headlines across the USA honoring Steve Jobs, and celebrities and normal people alike are commemorating Steve in their own way. And then there’s this: The 30 Dumbest Reactions to Steve Jobs’ death.

I wonder what the future of Apple will be without Steve and his visionary character.
